When you have a website running if it is brand new then verify whether your site indexed your pages or not. It is not a big task to know our site indexed in search engines or not you just type your site name in Google search engine and if it shows your website in search results then your site is indexed in Google if not then you have to submit your site to Google and also for different search engines though Google and many other search engines does not approve all sites but most of the sites will be approved.
There are few steps where you have to follow to make your site index in search engines like Google much faster. Try to implement and you will see better results in search engines visibility.
1) First submit your site url to Google and major search engines manually.
2) When you are promoting your site through emails then use Gmail to send emails to friends.

9) Use social net working sites effectively to index your site much faster.

12) Submit your site to all major directories.
Finally add Google +1 Button to your site.
